Hello, thank you for letting me be a member of your forum, I'm new to TahoeForum.com and forums in general but I was hoping to find some people with experience in the audio department.
I have a 2004 Suburban LT3 with the factory Bose system. I want to completely remove the Bose components all together and do a full custom system.
I'd like to know if anyone here has built their own sub box to fit under the factory console and if so, what to look out for and any tips on how to go about it. I know JL Audio makes a drop in (with slight modification) box with I believe a 10W3 in it but I'm wanting to put an 8W7 in mine and build the box out of 3/4" MDF. Any advice is much appreciated!
