Do the 96-99 2dr Tahoes come with locking rear diffs?

limited slip

Limited slip differental or (posi-traction) was an option.

Look in the glove box at the RPO codes... You're looking for the code "G80". If you see it, you have the GM G80 limited slip rear end, which is "good" up to about 30mph on the limited slip.
