DVD aftermarket or OEM

I bought this 07 LT used and it has a DVD player in the back but I have no clue if its aftermarket of OEM. I have the remote but no head phones and I cant seem to get any sound out of it yet it plays the DVD's fine. Ive tried working with it thru the manual with no help. Any suggestions?

if you need headphones i have bought replacement infared headphones at bestbuy and have seen them at walmart for sell pretty cheap. any infared headphones should work.
