exhaust leak

so my tahoe has the annoying clicking from the exhaust in the drivers side bank. now, i've been told its the exhaust manifold leaking. Is this true? and is there a way to fix it? its gotten rather annoying.

check to see if all the bolts are tight. i have 2 bolts that are broke in mine and i have this ticking too when i first start it but goes away. i have 198.000 miles

on her so it could be the lifters

yea, mine never goes away, and its louder when im on it. i guess when i do the oil change on monday i'll take a look at the bolts.

Is it where the manifold meets the motor or where it connects to the pipe? Mine has had 1 where it meets the pipe forever just havent got around to replaceing it

i have no clue. i'll take a look while im under there monday and check all the drivers side exhaust piping as well. this may be my excuse to get a full exhaust.
