Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this but I didn't see a classified thread.
I am regretfully selling my 1996 Chevy Tahoe 2 door LT with 6.5 turbo diesel.
She in good shape but in need of some TLC and I don't have the space or time to re build right now. This seems like a good forum for those who would appreciate this rare truck.
I am the third owner of this truck (bought in 2004 with 187000 km on it) and it has been in BC since I believe 1998 ( I'll have to check) originally factory ordered from Arizona.
What it is:
Black with grey leather
1996 Chevy Tahoe LT 2 door 4x4 320000 km
6.5 turbo diesel
4:10 gearing
Add a leaf in the rear
Power grouping
A/C
Automatic
What I have done:
New this year:
Injection and lift pump
Hydra pump
Oil cooler lines
All new braking system (lines and all)
Fuel solenoid replaced for second time only (fsd installed 2008)
New belts
New in last 3 years:
Bosch HD starter
Alternator
Master cylinder
Wiper motor
Tires are toyo AT originals on stock rims about 7 years old but still 80% at least as I drove mostly highway
What it needs:
New exhaust
Drivers leather is worn out and needs replacing
Minor leak in A/C fill valve
ABS trouble light came on recently and I haven't had is checked as of yet.
Carpets need a good shampoo
Minor rust starting in rear rockers at wheel we'll
The truck runs great despite the above needs
I am asking $6000 but a reasonable offer takes the truck
I will post pics as soon as I get it cleaned up and weather allows for better shots
