Hey what's up everybody. I'm new to the forum. I have a 2012 Chevy Tahoe police edition with roughly 134000 miles. I've had it for about 3 1/2 years and just had to change my fuel pump. Before I did that, the same week my gas gauge was reading the wrong gas level. Well after changing the pump it still reads the wrong level. It will read 1/4 tank of fuel but then I go to fill it and I'm only putting in 1/2 a tank before it's full. My question is, do I have to reset the fuel gauge or is it possible the mechanic ordered the wrong pump by not ordering the pump by the vin number?
