How To Remove The Radiator Core Support On A 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe

1. Remove 6 black plastic push-in retainers and cover above radiator core.
2. Remove both front headlight assemblies using a 10 mm socket.
3. Remove 4 - 10mm screws at top of the upper grille.
4. Remove 2 - 10mm screws from upper brackets of upper grille.
5. Remove 2 – 9/32†screws of fender well liner on driver’s side.
6. Remove 2 – 9/32†screws of fender well liner on passenger side.
7. Remove 2 – 10mm screws from black tabs on underside of bumper near black plastic corner supports.
8. Loosen front bumper from friction clips on both ends of front bumper.
9. Remove molded Styrofoam from front bumper fascia center support (curved front channel).
10. Remove 2 – 21mm bolts from front bumper impact bar.
11. Remove 2 – 10 mm bolts from front bumper fascia bracket (black plastic channel) that bolts onto lower section of core support.
12. Remove 1 – 10mm bolt from front bumper impact bar to front bumper filler on both ends
13. Remove black hexagonal hood stops from top of core support approximately 3†(3rd hole) from each end
14. Remove 2 – 13mm bolts holding upper tabs of radiator cooling fans
15. Remove 2 – 13mm bolts holding radiator to upper area of core support
16. Remove 3 – 10mm bolts holding hood latch to core support
17. Disconnect electrical connection to hood latch.
18. Remove push-in retainer holding electrical connection to hood latch from core support.
19. Remove 8 - 10mm bolts from the front upper grille bracket which is the black plastic cover that mounts to the front of the core support at the top.
20. Remove 2 – 10mm bolts from headlight brackets (2) from middle height of core support on opposite sides
21. Remove 2 – 10mm bolts holding a.c. condenser to top of core support.
22. Remove 1 – 10mm bolt holding each horn at opposite sides of lower section of core support.
23. Remove 4 – 10mm bolts holding battery tray at right front corner.
24. Remove 1 – 10mm bolt holding windshield washer fluid reservoir where battery tray was removed.
25. Remove 4 – 10mm bolts holding metal plate which supports electrical equipment at right end of core support.
26. Remove 2 – 10mm bolts holding vertical piece of a.c. condenser to core support.
27. Remove 3 – 13mm bolts holding each front fender to core support.
28. Remove 2 – 15mm bolts with 18mm nuts holding bottom of core support to frame
