installing tach.

guys i have a 95 yukon with the 5.7l 350 motor. im installing a tach that i have that i got for free. if it looks stupid ima take it out. i got 5 wires. yellow,red,orange,black,green. where would each wire go. i think the black is the ground. thanks guys... it has a shift light on it also.

What brand tach is it? Some will have more than one wire for the tach signal to use depending on the number of cylinders. You'll have one for power, one for ground, light, and tach signal. You'll have to find out the model. The colors almost sound like an Autometer or autogauge tach.

its called a tenzo R racing sports tach. its a 5 inch tach with shift light... i think the orange doesnt get used but im not sure. the tah is discontinued.
