Locking Rear Differential

I have a 2007 Tahoe 2LT and it did not come with the 3.73 locking differential and i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to it. any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated

yes you can upgrade, also I have one for sale that is out of my 08 tahoe

It should still have a locking diff look in your glovebox for the G80 code. you might have a different axle ratio but should still have the locker. GT4=3.73
GT5=4.10, and GU6 =3.42 i think. I think the locker is standard on Yukons and Tahoes.

If you are going to add it, add a good locker, the G80 doesn't exactly have the best reputation...
