I got my Flowmaster system installed about 2 weeks ago, and yesterday my check engine light came on. It also almost died this morning while it was idling. I took it to AutoZone and they checked the OBDII trouble codes. I got a P0171 and P0174. They cleared those codes for me, and the light went off. Now, the light came back on and it went back to "safety mode" (reduced power/acceleration, etc).

Any idea what the issue is here? Thanks!

I haven't, but I'm actually looking at those right now. Do you think it might not be getting enough air?

Well those code if I'm not mistaken are banks that are to lean,so theirs not enough gas in those banks.Which could be caused by a vacuum leak or you have a leak around one of a few places like your MAF,THROTTLE BODY or possible intake manifold.

No not necessarily you just might have a leak in those areas you might just need to tighten up a few things! Things wiggle them self's loose over time and that might all it could be!

One is your stock cold air intake the pipe connects to both the throttle body and the MAF you check to see if there's any play or give to those areas. They have hose clamps on them. The intake manifold isn't so easy but do able you can first look to see any visible wetness and make sure that it isn't from your valve covers leaking down. Then you use carb cleaner and spray around the entire manifold if it changes idle up and down sorry forgot to mention it has to be running at that point, then you know you gotta leak there.

I had the same problem recently, looked everywhere tightened everything. Then I changed out the MAF sensor and everything was all good again. What happens is the maf sends false reading because it's faulty causing a lean condition in the banks.
