Please HELP - Service Battery Charging System

This is on a 2008 Tahoe LTZ with 125K miles. New battery.
Occasionally the red battery icon on the dash comes on and in the message center I get "Service Battery Charging System". I had the battery and charging system checked and all are up to specification. The light and message go off after about 5 minutes of driving and may not come on the rest of the day.

I talked to my local dealer and the service folks cannot come up with any suggestions outside the alternator may me intermittently failing. Has anyone else had this happen and can offer any suggestions?

Very well is likely the alternator with an intermittent problem. Likely a diode trio causing that. Good luck.

Did you get to the bottom of this? My Tahoe does the same thing.
