Steering tight after new steering box

So my power steering box was leaking in my 99 hoe. Had a rebuilt steering box installed and now it's tight. Before it was pinky finger steering. Now it's 2 arm.
Rebuilder says it will loosen up.
Anyone else ever have this?

My truck I my had 150.000 miles
All suspension and steering components tight.
Your thoughts

Gear box preload is too tight, it was not setup properly, it may self destruct IMHO.....
