tahoe cargo doors emblem

does anyone know if the emblem is bolted on to the door or just simply stuck on there because iam wanting to take it off

I work in a GM assembly plant and all our emblems are the stick-on variety. I would bet yours is a stick-on as well.

every emblem on the '00 - '06 tahoes are stick on. I took all mine off..."debadged"

I guessing by your screen name that you have a 96. The emblems are affixed with double sided tape. Do yourself a favor and get an eraser to remove the tape residue. something like below

Same thing with the 93... now when you get back to the Old Emblems like 60s 70s stuff like that that says 350, 327, 396, 454, SS, Chevelle, Impala.. you know the ones im talking about .. like in the attachment - now those are bolted on.. but, your bump trim, and other emblems on the tahoes/yukons/silverados/sierras.. etc - those are all on there with double sided tape (easier for the company, and cheaper) Emblems are made out of plastic now instead of metal..
