I drove my 2004 Tahoe today after it had been sitting in the garage for about 4 weeks undriven. It started and ran fine but the tranny was kicking pretty hard when downshifting for 20 miles on the way to work. When I got in it to go home this afternoon I started it, put it in "R" and it wouldn't move, it was like it was in neutral. I slid it over to "D" and still nothing. I put it in Park and then tried "R" again and it worked fine. Haven't had any trouble getting it to engage since, but this has happened a few times in the past. Is it dealer time or wait and see if it keeps acting up? Check all fluids and they're fine, the truck only has 32000 miles and had a tranny flush at 30k. Any ideas?
