Transfer Case Fluid....

Does anybody know what color the transfer case fluid is? I think it's called Auto Trak II fluid. I have greenish colored oil on the underside of my Tahoe.

I wish I knew, I totally thought the thing took tranny fluid until now. I even tried to look it up, but no luck. Saw your other post and didn't know what to say, except to hope you just drove through someone else's mess. But green, huh? Hmm, sorry I can't be of more help.

Just replaced my 03 Yukon with the Auto Trak II. Its blue!

Blue? Well, I was close. It indeed turned out to be a blown transfer case. Total loss. But the good news is, it's covered 100% under the drivetrain warranty. Even got a free Equinox loaner to tool around in while the 'Hoe is getting fixed.
