vortec heads

ive got a 95 tahoe which we all know have horrable heads so i want to swap them for a set of stock 96 vortec heads but keep my tbi setup. so do i need to have a chip tuned to run the heads or can i leave it as is

thanks. it never crossed my mined that the intake manifold might be diferent

Sounds like you could get a 96 G2500+ intake and vortec heads.... interesting, wonder if it is true?
