Wierd Quirk?

My wife called from work and said the Tahoe (2000 5.3L 4X4) wouldn't start. Motor turned fine and no warning lights. I get up there and notice it's been parked on a downgrade for about 6 hours. There's right at a quarter tank of gas so I'm thinking maybe it's fuel starved or maybe the oil is forward in the pan and it thinks there's no oil. Just guessing. The worst part of all, I had a guy in a Durango pull me onto level ground. Popped the hood looking for something obvious. Everything looked fine. Got in and turned the ignition and it fired right up. We haven't had this vehicle long and wondering if this a Tahoe quirk. Has anyone had this problem?

Doubt it was the oil level if at the full mark. More likely was low fuel in the tank.
