**help** hids & projectors

ALONG WITH AN HID KIT IT SAYS "PLUG AND PLAY" SO DO I NEED THE HID KIT!?!?? AND HOW DO I INSTALL THE PROJECTORS!??

Did you order these without getting specs or doing any research? That link shows they are only projectors and does not indicate it comes with any HIDs lights/ballasts. There is also a link for installation instructions...

That's too bad they are like $100 less after shipping on ebay. The ebay page says it comes with bulbs, but they are not HID. So you will probably need to buy HIDs. If it all works out let us know, and post some pics.

Cool..i also bout some 8000k xentec hids (kit) ballast and all...ima just try 2 plug up the light kit and see if it works... I'll keep yall posted

Yeah post some pics when you are done. Let us know how you like the 8000k. Interested to see how they light the road for driving. I would probably get the 4300k and at most 6000k.

Does the projector unit include halos or just LEDs?

It has halos and leds... It has 4 led lights and 2halos (angel eyes)

8000K have less lite and are blue. Agree w/ Zed71.

i just install 1 light, ima do the other in the am, (pics soon)when i plugged up the projector it was the same white factory light!!! any1 know what i can do to make the projector blue!? Or hyper white!?

You need to by the HID kit (bulbs, ballasts, and harness [assuming you are going to for the 50W]). Check the vendors on this site first.

Also check the DIY section. There have been some good write-ups.

How did the install go for the projectors? Was it truly plug and play? Do the halos replace the DRL? Need pics!

Pics comin soon.. Ima finish today...cuz it got late....yea its was plug and play the only thing is i have to connectt the halos and leds to a negative wire. But im scared to cut any wires!

If it says to connect to a negative wire all you need is ground. No need to cut a wire just attach to a bolt or to the body ar frame with a sheet metal screw. It just need to be a good connectipn to ground

soo... I hooked up the lights, i connected the + wire to the battery and even when the car is fully off! The lights are still on how can i fix this!??

I thought the one you ordered was plug n' play. Did the instruction indicate to directly attached to the battery? Is the existing harness being used at all?

Yea the stock harness is being used....the leds and halos/angel eyes have a + & -wire white and blk i grounded 1 and the pos i hooke 2 the battery.. But then the light will never go off how do i fix it to where it will go off when all the other lights go off!?!?

Probably need to use a relay in the + line that is controlled by the lite switch.
