I am really happy to finally see the interior get a new look and a big tech upgrade but absolutely hate the exterior look. As the saying goes "If it isn't broken don't fix it".

It looks like a cross between a Nissan Amada and a Ford Expedition.
I agree, I don't like the look. Exactly like the Ford styling. The main reason I like Chevy is that they usually have great looking vehicles. Of late even the larger 1500 to 3500 trucks look so much like the super duty Ford trucks of the past 15 years. I'm amazed that the styling guys have no talent when it comes to making a truck look good as they did back in the 80's. through 90's. Usually they maintain a style for ten years on trucks. No wonder they had to get a bailout from the government. They are so wasteful.

I couldn't disagree more. I have an 07 and love it, but this looks more modern and edgy. This will be a huge seller for GM.

Looks good to me! When will it be available? Can't wait to trade in my 08, as I actually liked my 04 better

Not sure how I feel about these. They're not ugly, but I don't really like the style either. Maybe I'm just biased. I always preferred the OBS vs NBS, and especially the newer NBS. Regardless, if I were to pick either the new Yukon or Tahoe, I'd get the Tahoe. I like it's front end and gauge cluster better than the Yukon's. I do like the color scheme in the Denali though. The Black/Gray fits nicely.

Forgive me, I'm not on here very often. What's OBS and NBS?

I've got to say, my first impression was disappointment that they look like a Ford. I like the look of the current Chevy's more than the GMC's when viewed from the front, but on these new ones, I think the GMC looks better. It still doesn't look as good as the current 07-14 Chevy's. When these come out, it might lower the value of used current models. Maybe I'll upgrade to a 10 to 13, but I doubt I'll ever want one of the 15's or newer till they change the style again.

Welcome to the forum.

On some forums OBS is the GMT800/2001-2006 and NBS is the GMT900/2007-2014. Others do it differently. I prefer to just use the GMT number so there's no ambiguity.

Well I have an 08 Tahoe, I think it's the best loking of the 4 I've had over the years, the last Truck I had regretably was a 2000 silverado 1500, I still have a 99 GMC Dually crew cab for pulling a camper I have. But I think the 03 through07 styling on trucks with those oriental looking head lights was not too good looking, when they did change the silverado styles to what they have now they made an improvement I liked but still the heavy duty truck styling shares a lot of similarity with the Ford super duty in it's looks. Not to say I wouldn't buy one. But back to the subject of the post originally, Just my prefernce and opinion. The 2015 Tahoe to me looks like a Ford Expedition. Maybe after a few years it might grow on me but i just don't like how far away from the present styling they went.

OBS=old body style-older than 2000
NBS=New body style-2000-2006
NNBS=new new body style- 2007-

I wonder what the 2015 is gonna be called on some forums? N3BS??

Denali front end will FOR SURE taking some getting used to. Looks like a cross between the original Denali and a Terrain.

2015 Tahoe many things not fixed from these photos

Looks nice the new 2015 LTZ model.

I dont see in the listed options the announced alloy chassis and suspension components including the new engine nor the 8 speed transmission that would help yield the badly needed 30+ MPG fuel consumption

The third seat should be an option without any package associated to it, I took mine out the very first day I bought my Tahoe LTZ 2011.

I hope that 2015 comes again with the cabin air filter for the AC (removed from the 2007 on to date) to reduce the outside odors and fumes. :greenchainsaw:

Also the 2015 doesnt solve the 20 inch tires from rubbing the FRONT inner fender flaring when turned to the max or in bumps.

Natural gas ready would be a great optional package for the 2015

Front seats doesn look like they have been improved, they look exactly like my 2011..

The front end geometry (grill/front engine cover) is higher and more boxy than the actual model so I dont see how the aerodynamics have been improved to increase fuel efficency?? Based on my Tahoe there are over 3 inches clearance from the hood to engine, so Chevrolet could have lower down the grill/hood 2 inches and reduce wind resistance and frontal parking visibility or not??

I thought badly of the 2007 release at first then they grew on me.

Im kinda thinking the same for this one.

Need to see a Z71 for my final verdict.

Also, that red is terrible.

Interesting to see than many of you thought the new Tahoe looked like a Ford. That was my first impression. There were three main reasons why I bought my 2011 Tahoe LTZ. 1) I loved how it looked. The front end is awesome. 2) Interior room. I can get a lot of schtuff in there. 3) The fact that I could take out the third row seat. I don't need a third row. Never did, never will. I simply do not want to haul around and extra 100 pounds of something that has no value to me. At my next oil change, i was thinking about getting the ball rolling on trading up for a 2015. Absolutely positively no way.

Hello am new to forum, I struggled during August on buying a 2013 Texas Edition Tahoe 4WD or waiting on the release of the pics of the new 2015 Model. Did not care for the pictures of the 2015 Tahoe at the New York auto show. The new grill just didn't do it for me. Thinking of installing an aftermarket GPS Nav Radio and I should be good to go, took out the third row seats on delivery. Regards GG

That was a mistake. I love my 2007 but it the design work was done in 2005 - 2006, can't wait to get the new one with an aftermarket grill and wheel / tire package.
