2012 stock sirius radio issue

I bought an aftermarket deck and had it installed. The factory Sirius is sending me a nice add message on my display to reconnect the Sirius......any one have any idea how to get rid of the add on the display?? have had it in the chevy dealer twice and they have no idea.....

Have you tried just disconnecting the wiring harness from the factory Sirius/XM receiver? Its a silver box behind the glove box. If you have an aftermarket deck you wont be using the factory satellite receiver.
