congrats. u wont be dissappointed... after stayin on the boards, i decided to keep my denali!!! it's pretty crazy. i thought i got a steal when i got mine (stickered at $55.5K) for $45K. it's more of a steal when the best offer i got was $28K for a 1 year old denali!!! overall, its worth...
i had the same choice to deal with when i purchased my denali. in the end i purchased a denali, because it was not $10,000 more, but $1500 more. for that much it was worth it. i'm actually selling my denali now, and in the end, i can get more for the denali than the ltz as well...
first...
im a big p-car fan...
if you want a true driving experience, i think porsche is like no other...
993 great, but overpriced b/c of demand for lotac (last of the air coold), they are actually more exp than 996's.
for $55K, you can get into a CPO 997. If you have never driven a 997, go...
i wouldnt knock toyota. i love both toyotas and chevys... driving both, my toyota was a bit more reliable, i had 180K miles on the 4runner before i sold it for $11K. Nice value retention... but i love my denali more than any car i've ever had....
im not into the whole american vs. japan...
i see... hey, new is good too! i do vote for the LT3 package, though (if your budget can take it)... i really do think its worth some extra dimes. i remember when shopping for mine. i really dig the remote start and the power lift gate. since i use mine in the snow, the leather was a must...
i'd say get a used 2007. ive run across some that are rediculously cheap... i think recession worries and gas prices are scaring people away from SUVs. i got my denali for $46500 + tax&license (MSRP @ $55K). i took a look and u can get a used 2007 with low miles for $40-41K. that's quite a...
i've been seeing a lot of tahoes and yukons.. ALOT of LTZs.. that was my second choice to the denali (which i love)... but i get jealous of some of the nice bowtie packages on the LTZs (color combo'd, etc.) gotta love the nice LTZs... i even dig the stock 20" 5 spokes...
factory nav is cool b/c of the integration. although the garmin works 10000% better. the only saving grace is that i can have a movie on while driving thanks to the lockpick...
i really love my denali and many of the features that comes with it. i thought about everything that is great, and things that are not so great
things i love:
remote start (not avail on my lexus)... great for cold weather and in the snow... jumping into a toasty car is SO nice! haven't...
i prefer the lowered look to anything else. but for my car stock is perfect as it gets me through up the mountain (or to the lake), through the snow and back... best auto i've ever had
personally i don't like the new sequoia. isnt the lexus GX based of the same platform? the GX is due for a redesign... i still think my denali looks better on the outside... but i can't say the chevy has the best styling... im my opinion GM "still doesn't get it"... for a $55K truck (ok...
i have 11,000 miles in 4.5 months... at this rate ill be at 100K in no time... i dont understand since i only live 11 mi from work... i guess this car is THAT fun to drive... (1 trip to yosemite and 3 trips to mammoth later)...
i wish i could keep this car for many years, but i just have a...
