to be honest with you , your probably starting off with removing the door panels, i doubt its going to be a lock actuator or anything to with the locking mechanism itself becasue they open from the outside, i notice my car unlocks when i put it in park is yours is doing this i think the locks...

just turn you tahoe upside down that should fix the problem

keep looking when i was looking @ hoe's before i got mine i found a 04 lt with 105k miles that was clean and ran good for 7500 . i ended up purchasing mine with 90k miles for 9200. keep looking you dont want a high mileage car

it has to be out of the vehicle for you to ohm it out, anything you ohm has to be disconnected from the vehicle before you ohm it out
