I had the same issue. The trim came loose. It happened on my rear drivers side back door as well. Seems like something GM should cover as the dealer install is expensive.
I've got a different sound but nice fix! Mine is almost a whistle. The noise stops a second or 2 after I lift off the throttle, and comes right back as soon as I barely touch the gas. Sounds like the same as lowboy.
I upgraded my radio from iOS5 to iOS6 which now includes Navigation and a few other apps. I ordered it from the company below since they had a local shop in my city - just in case.

They needed my VIN too - guessing for security...
I think we are talking about the same noise... I keep mine in 2WD normally and still hear it multiple times a day. If you figure out the cause of the noise, please let me know. In meantime, I will just turn the radio up louder to drown it out.
Is it a high pitch 'squeak' sound? If yes, I have something similar on my '15 Chevy Tahoe. I have asked the dealer about it but they don't hear any issues. I am guessing it annoys you as well...
Has anyone tried adding Navigation to the MyLink System? I found a similar thread on a different forum.

The 2015i (for interim model year) models feature several notable updates over their 2015 counterparts, including two new packages and several new available features, including OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with the 3GB/3-month trial, wireless charging, Siri Eyes Free, Text Message Alerts and a...
I am not sure. What I do know... there was a $1,250 loyalty offer that ended on Dec 31st and the current loyalty offer of $1,000 was extended through Mar 2nd. I am not sure anyone on this forum could predict if GM would continue a similar loyalty program. On a side note, a Tahoe built before...
I used a promotion code "ZWINBACK" when I renewed. I think the promotional price was $77/yr and if you used a credit card it was only $65/yr. Not 100% positive...
Hmm... I want to say my lights were off since it was daytime, but I don't remember as it was just before Hurricane Hanna hit the OBX and it rained the whole drive back to Raleigh.
Living in the south, I rarely use 4WD but needed it a few weeks ago driving on the beach. (Sounds like a few of us in this forum like Carova Beach) Nonetheless, I went to turn it from 4WD to 2WD and the twist knob was really, really warm. Is that normal or should I have the dealer check it out?
I am using a Yakima rack. It is slightly more expensive, but you have plenty more options. The parts include “low rider†towers and a pair of 54†cross bars. (plus locks) My only complaint is that our trucks are rather tall and putting items on the roof rack can be challenging at times...
