    drop that sh*t bish, you know lifting it is just gonna wear sh*t out. These trucks look way better lowered and ride the same. I rally the hell out of my truck with the drop, no issues in 25k.

    Meh I'd rather drop this thing that lift it, 6" on 35s is fvcking weak I'd solid axle it on 40s and 22s if I was gonna lift it. I drove my buddy's stock denali with oem 20s the other day and it rode just like mine, I'm sure I will get it to a 5/7 drop without sacrificing ride quality.

    Custom y-pipe off the longtubes with no cats, keep my muffler, dump exhaust above the rear bumper with the tip facing down. I'll put a glasspack on if it's obnoxious but I think it will be nice and low. Spindles will go on once I buy tie rods, pitman/idler arms, and the cognito steering braces.

    I'd get the used one, just make sure the tailshafts are the same as well as the case itself (should have a tag from borg-warner on the rear cover). That could be hurting your mileage but not significantly, you may notice an increase in mileage from the fluid changes in the diffs however. The...

    Anybody mod a 3/4 Ton Yukon XL/Suburban?

    Same suspension as the classic 2500s, I've done 4-8" lifts on the new body trucks. Get some torsion keys from a 1500 chevy along with some bilstein 5100s front and back and it would clear 33s no problem. Rear is leaf spring, add blocks or an add-a-leaf to get 1-2" if necessary.

    More parts accumulating in the garage. Now I have msd wires, new plugs (ngk tr55), AEM longtube headers, belltech spindles, rear shocks, and hopefully some new subs in the next week or so. Still have to order gaskets for the headers but I'm gonna try to put them on this weekend...they'll be open...

    Looks much better, seems like the keys gave quite a bit of drop up front and the rear should settle another 1/2". I love the red on these body tahoes :cheers:

    Need help deciding; HD or cowl?

    HD no question. Gives a nice smooth look to the truck without overdoing it like a cowl, again just my opinion.
