I have a 2008 4 door Tahoe 2WD that I have gotten over 20 mpg in. I used the cruise as much as possible. However, like they say. Your mileage may vary. Hope that helps.

I did go out and purchase the Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit to attack this. After using the Quick Detailing spray and clay bar, the Cleaner Wax, and a coating of Meguiar's NXT Generation Paste Wax, you really have to look for any evidence of the attack. I appreciate everyone's advice...

I went out and took a picture of the "impact zone". You can see how the dew distribution is changed. It appears to be only etched. Luckily, there was no evidence of shell damage to the paint.

Considering the MSRP for a new 2008 Tahoe Hybrid is over $50K, I would jump at it if I didn't have mine already. That is my 2 cents worth.

I experimented and stumbled upon 34 psi cold for my stock 17 inchers. It seemed to wallow a lot when the inflation was only 30. It seems to drive a lot better and wifey seems happier with the ride as well. Hope this helps.

My 2008 LT1 2WD gets between 18 and 19 in mixed city/highway driving. If I am doing highway mileage only, I get 21ish. I am driving 60 - 65 using cruise control. Hope this helps.
