The newer Tahoes are self leveling... when you start the car, the car adjusts it's height with a little compressor in the suv. What you are probably hearing are the air pumps working...
Can anyone make a quick video of removing that? I'm planning on doing mine and this is the first I have heard that they were so troublesome but a video would be great to show how to do it.
when the back glass is open the lift gate will not operate at the same time. (at least in mine) if you close the glass, the lift gate works fine. You just can't seem to work them together. Make sure your glass is closed all the way or that lift gate won't operate at all.
