Spark plug gaping...

:help: My local auto part store recommended the gaping be .041 . I just found my manual after i installed the plugs. The 2002 Chevy Tahoe manual says .056 Can anyone tell me if this will do any damage to the engine.?.?.?

Correction... the manual says .060. The plugs are AC Delco. Please help

I would go with the manufacturer specs not local auto store...
What did you gap it at?

I started it at the auto part recommendation. I can tell something different afterwords.
I re-gaped it (0.50) and split the difference. Seems to be in good running standings.
