Take the door sill plates off, remove the seat belt and pull the trim off. It is held on with retainers under the panel.

Not gonna fit. 33's will rub most stock height tahoes without crank. You will need a lift to clear those.

Mine was a cassette only with pocket under radio and it had the amp under the driver seat. It was a cheap looking plastic box.

uq3 should have a small black plastic amp under the driver seat.

What ohm rating infiniti's did you get? I know they make 2 ohm speakers and that could be your problem. Also, the amp is either under the driver seat or under the console depending on what option code you have.

On a tbi, yes they are worth it. On votecs, no, they are not.

I assume it has keyless entry? It could be the receiver. It turns on the domelights when you unlock the doors via the fob. I have seen issues with the receivers turning the domelamps on all the time. typically, the mounting is different between the 105a and the higher amperage alternators. Call a gm dealer and give them the last 8 digits of the vin and they can tell you what you have. Or, tell me the last 8 and I can check as I work at a gm dealer.
