I'm new to the forums as well. I sold a 99 two door Tahoe some time ago that looked just like yours, had the same issues you describe, just wondering if you were in the Mississippi-Louisiana area, might be my old truck as it had about 72K on it when I sold it two years ago. Supposedly the guy who bought it never drove it. It was an LS with cloth seats and had been painted on the driver's door and rear quarter (light body work). Enjoy your truck, best color combination on any of them.
