I would suggest the airbag Airlift kit, the cheapest model with manual inflate, should cost around $200 installed. You would still need to manually inflate each side, but if it doesn't leak which it shouldn't you will be fixed up...
Are you talking about the 2nd or 3rd row of seats? If your talking about the 3rd row seats, just remove them if you don't need um, you should have plenty of room then.
IMHO,
Think it has to do with the speed rating of your tires and can be changed with an OBD programmer.
Don't think I would want to go over 100 MPH in an SUV anyway.
First, there is not enough room under a Tahoe without lifting or ramps to change the oil.
Second, you will need a pad to drain the oil in and recover for recycling. You can purchase at any auto parts store. Make sure you put the pan far enough to the side to catch it when you pull the...
1. No way to turn off autolock. Every other vehicle I have owned you could do this via a sequence of buttons.
2. 6.0 or 6.2 engine option for the Tahoe, not just the burb. 6 Speed a wish, but not really needed vs. larger engine for towing.
3. Crapping radio interface and tone...
It's dynamic active ride control for the LTZ vs. static higher dampening shocks and stiffer springs for the Z71 that makes the LTZ ride smoother over the bumps.
It doesn't hurt to run 10W-30. I have used it in both 2004 Denali I had and the 2003 Z06. GM suggest it to get a little extra MPG, the 5W might be better in the winter, but will be just fine in the summer time. Just don't use 10w-40 or 10w-50. The 30 number is more important than the 5W.........
Has anyone tried the Superchip programmer? I would like a little more towing torque and would like to flash mine with the 91 Ocatane Towing option from Superchip, but don't want to spend $400 or so if it doesn't help.
Also, what aftermarket induction system would you recommend as well...
I would like to upgrade the 18" wheels on my Z71, but stay with the stock 18" tires, what brand would you recommend such that they offset doesn't make them stick out farther than they do today??
Thanks
Rod
Update, dealer replaced the complete front Fascia from another Z71 fresh off the trailer, looks just like it should now!!!
Now, just need to get some 3M clear paint protectant installed behind the front wheels before it gets too many rock chips, those Bridgestone A/T...
You can get Auto Level control, but all that does is raise the rear end if it sags due to passengers or a trailer. They sit high. Your only option is to either lower or add aftermarket air bags with auto level control. Auto Ride/Smooth ride is real time shock damping that automatically...
Just had a face to face conversation with the sales manager. They are going to swap my cover for one on the lot is straight off the trailer without holes. I guess they know the value of keeping a future customer happy. Otherwise, I would be taking my next purchase somewhere else.
Timgco, I...
