I was looking to buy some 18'' take offs from a 2017 and put on my 2011. Would anyone know if i would need to swap tire sensors or could i just reprogram them to the truck?

now i just have the alternator whine with the engine on regardless of radio volume. It is my wife's truck so she wont be playing the radio too loud, so i need to try to get rid of it. I just need to find a better ground i guess.

I had the static noise when the engine was off. The Kicker RCA's that I bought from best buy seem to be the cause. If I use the RCA's that came with the amp install kit, which is kicker btw, then the noise is gone. I still have the alternator whine. Gonna mess with that this weekend.

Turns out that it was my RCA's that was causing the robotic static noise. Still got the alternator whine when the engine is runninng. Seems that the floor and also the seat bolts are not good enough ground points.

yes i got the alternator from autozone. why shouldnt i have? My problem was i didnt check my work and i forgot to plug in the connection by the air box. my wife got the reconditioned alternator that they had in stock.

ive got a 2003 tahoe with the 4.8. Had to change alternator which led to changing the battery. its a duralast from autozone with 1000 cranking amps. not sure if it is the correct battery. the wife went get it. anyway, the truck idles as low as 400 then jumps to about 800 every 15...

I recently installed a low beam set on my 03 tahoe and am very satisfied. i also got it from mike and was very impressed with the quality. only thing: i was worried that i may not had enough wire to reach the bulbs. but it could have been my routing path.

Ive got an 03 with a 4.8 in it. I didnt do anything to it yet. What do you have and what have you done to it so far?

RT, Would the Denali housings fit on a 03 tahoe? I am about to order some 9006 HID's from Mike for my low beams. Or should i just stay stock housing?

Where did you get them from? Are they HID compatible? They look nice. Im looking for some as well.

on my kenwood dnx7100, you can set up zones with different sources. I have a Movievision dvd system that was installed previously and i ran some audio/video rca cables into the 7100.

I installed a 7100 on my 03 tahoe and mine does the same thing. i had called crutchfield and they said that probably the stock radio received the dimmer thru the data wire from the tahoe. they told me that even tho the kenwood had a dimmer wire there would be no corresponding wire from the...

dang. i dont think i will be able to wait 2 months. its my wife's truck and the stock radio doesnt play cd's anymore. a price drop on the 7100 would be real nice. locally they are at $1500.
