Does anyone have step by step instructions on changing the brake power booster on my 96 4X4 Tahoe. Do I need to also replace the master cylinder, it seems to be in OK condition. Every time I put on the brakes it makes a whooshing sound and requires me to use a lot of pressure on the brake...

I have a 96 Tahoe 4x4 about 120,000 miles. When stepping on the brake pedal it makes a sound like air is escaping. It seems harder to stop also. Any suggestions on what part is messing up? Thanks
