From what I have heard and experienced, when you get lean bank 1 and 2 it is a MAF sensor. I would say try replacing your MAF sensor.

Can anyone tell me what kind of socket is used to remove the drivers seat in a 2003 tahoe. I know its a star socket, but the only ones I have found are too short because the bolt is so long. Anyone know where to find the correct socket or tool? thanks!

I am for sure staying with OEM grade pads, but what would you recommend as far as OEM grade pads? Are Hawk better than OEM

I am changing my brake pads, but I dont know which brand/type to use. I have heard Hawk are good ones, which one do you guys recommend? (I have all OEM brake parts). Thanks!

No problem glad to help, but you might want to confirm your motor is bad before you order a new one, and you can check it when you get your shop manual. I would hate to have you order the part and then be stuck with it because the motor wasn't the problem.

Haha, I'm not sure, but I would imagine you would take off the door panel like you said and replace the motor. A shop manual would really help you out, and would give you step by step instructions, something like a Chilton manual would be great, thats what I have.

Possibly the motor has gone out, so it clicks like its giving power, but since the motor is blown it doesn't move.

check your manual, for an 01 there should be a sequence that will only make the lights flash on lock, or whatever you choose. I know on 03's and up the steering wheel controls operate that function, but your manual should tell you the sequence. Maybe someone with an 01 can confirm that that is...

I had a similar leak, but my coolant is orange (dexcool). It was the water pump, and the leak was coming from the front too, but it was hard to tell exactly where because it was dripping on other parts and hoses. I took to the dealer and had to have the water pump replaced.

I have noticed the same with my tahoe, and I replaced the shocks with OEM shocks. No help

Right part, but it actually has clips on the gray valence that attach to the black piece you are looking at(they snap together), I doubt you could rig something up you would be better off with the matching gray valence.

I also had the trans fluid changed a couple of weeks ago, and it did nothing.

I think I would just be better off replacing the seat for like $500 for a pair of front seats. Does any one know what type of nut is holding the front seats down, some kind of star pattern?
