I got about 3 years life (75,000 miles) of blue devil on my deville. Vortec 350 will go for a lot long because it gets no where near as hot as a deville. I drove 75mph on the highways with no overheating
Good Directions, I followed them pretty good.
1. unscrew the two trans mounts from the bottom of bell housing that runs to the bottom of the front frame.
2. Take the circle piece under the bell housing out(it looks like the bottom of a soda can)

THis has been a rough winter. Transmission change time. Got to hit the junk yard this weekend and go get a trans. TO all out there with a little slip in the trans mission. Don't push it to hard. Change the filter and put the same transmission fluid back in. The purpose of that is to make sure...
You got lucky. Was it completely broken? If it was then you where lucky. it had to have broken idling or at very low speed. Going 55 or 65 mph would have caused damaged. You might have had to get a new engine or had a permanent knock in your engine.
You are right about that but I have seen pictures of people modding the trim around the radio to fit a double din. But they don't good enough instructions on what they did. For me to start. If I can find some one with awesome instruction I'll get started on it.
I have search and search the other post and other sites and forums. And no one wants to give complete instructioin what was do to install it. I bought the Eonon Double din with the navigation for cheap($120) brand new in the box. and I want to use it.
