The S&B CAI improved my gas mileage by at least 1mpg by itself. This was measured over 3 tanks of gas of "normal" usage (mixed freeway and surface streets).

I've got the S&B CAI installed, yellow-top battery, gapped plugs to 0.60 as suggested on this forum, replaced the O2 sensor with a shiny Bosch one, and gave her all new fluids. This has gotten me from about 320mi to a tank to 380mi average (13mpg to about 16mpg)
What next going to get me the...
What do you need help with? If you have never done one before, there are plenty of step-by-step guides out there. Google is your friend.
If you need specifics for the Tahoe, there's plenty of help here. Be more specific with your questions.

Yeah, these types of studies are pretty inconclusive by my reading. That's why I go off statistical reports rather than scientifically-controlled studies that don't account for real world incidents.
Statistically speaking, it's unlikely that, when properly restrained, your baby is presented...
Wow, 6 months and already out of that first seat? Yowch.
I suggest either:
1. Go to Babies R Us and grabbing one of the parent-aged people in there to help you out. In addition, they have an outstanding return policy.
2. Go to one of those church-sponsored consignment days. Here in...
We kept our son in the Graco Heirloom (the one with the base) until he was about 10 months old. He crossed the 22lb mark at that time and was about 24" if I remember correctly.
He was also crawling like a champ, pulling himself up on anything, and standing on his own. For some reason, he...
If you're going to do the ceiling mount, I suggest you have a shop do it (unless you're really familiar with headliners, and possibly talented with upholstery).
But then, that's not a cheap option.
Cheapest option is getting a 7" LCD mounted in a headrest that has the flip-down DVD player. A...
Only thing I can think of that's a common occurance is wiring up the harness wrong. Double check your wiring schematics.
It's entirely possibly the harness you bought wires up differently than the colors or wire placement of the harness of the HU.
They shouldn't just quit if wired...

If you want a "stealth" install, I'd highly recommend getting a custom fiberglass panel created for that entire side (there's very few things behind that panel, more room for boom!) - the only real issue is you lose the spot for the jack. It's a useless jack, anyways - I'd rather have a...
I'm coming from the motorcycle world, where it's normal for the engine to vent oil a bit... but perhaps it's just slowly leaking from somewhere.
I seem to be about 1/4 quart low when I do changes. I do mine between 5000 and 7000 intervals.
No idea on the cage, but they're pretty similar in size and have multiple points that you can pinch down to make it fit correctly. Have you tried another brand?
Multimeter on the points while pushing them down so it has current. See if it matches up to the measurements on known working ones.
Where were those wires? I've had intermittent issues with my rear driver's window...
I decided to debadge in late 03. So I guess almost 3 years.
No fading on any of the sides. First one I took off was the "LS" on the door pillar, and it left no fading - so I did all of them. Guess the previous owner parked it outside or something.
I did not see this. I changed mine at 80 and 100k and did not have any mold or mildew growth on them either time after that. I figure it was just because the originals were in there for so long the first time.
Thankfully I have no smell coming from my A/C. Yet.
