2006 Tahoe AC blower motor/fan continues to run when key is turned off. I have to disconnect battery to get it to stop. Could it be the fan control module or/and the resistor? PLEASE help. Thank you
2008 Tahoe LTZ with 127K miles getting sluggish on acceleration. No lights or codes. I suspect it is the throttle body needs cleaning. Any tricks or suggestions? How much should I pay if I have it done? Thanks
This is on a 2008 Tahoe LTZ with 125K miles. New battery.
Occasionally the red battery icon on the dash comes on and in the message center I get "Service Battery Charging System". I had the battery and charging system checked and all are up to specification. The light and message go off after...
I have looked at Youtube videos and read other suggestions and looked at pictures and I cannot find the oil sending unit on a 2006 Tahoe 3.5L engine. I am pretty sure it is on the back of the engine on the driver's side. Any help would be most appreciative.
I read several threads on this subject and I have a question. My 2008 Tahoe is 4wd and I understand the clunk is probably coming from the rear drive shaft that needs lubricating. I have a front and a rear drive shaft. Is the rear one the one that I need to lubricate and since it requires...
Anyone know where I could fine a new or gently used driver floormat (oem) Titanium color for a 2008 Tahoe. The passenger side is perfect and I am trying to avoid having to pay for one I don't need.
thnaks
I have a 2008 LTZ with 118k miles on it. Question is which oil should I be using?
Conventional 5W30, or Penzoil High Mileage 5W30, or Valvoline Max Life synthetic blend 5W30. I change the oil every 3k miles and Mobil 1 is just too expensive.
Thanks for your help.
Service Suspension System showed up about 6 weeks ago. - Replaced the rear compressor with a Dorman unit for $244. I am assuming it is acting like it is supposed to. The warning message is gone and when I start the Tahoe after about 10 seconds it runs for about 5 seconds. Is there anyway to test...
I noticed on my 2008 LTZ that my left rear shock's rubber boot is torn and has holes. Would this cause the air pump for the leveling system to run continuously and go out?
I am on my 3rd set of tires and I have had to replace them with about 35K miles with over 1/2 of tire tread left due to wearing on the outside sides on front only. The front end is checked every 6Kmiles and is always perfect. The tires always have the right air pressure.
Am I the only one...
Am I correct in assuming that a C0660 suspension code (exhaust valve issue) is only repaired by replacing the compressor assembly? Can I rule out sensors and shocks and leaks as being th problem? Thanks
Been having suspension service error messages and been just clearing them . After a couple of weeks it quit displaying the message. Had a mechanic pull the codes and there was a history one for C0660. As I researched it looks like the solution is to replace the compressor assembly. It is an...
I had the "service suspension system" information in the DTC for about a month and have been clearing it until I could get time to get it diagnosed and repaired. For about the past week the warning message has not come back.To day when traveling in very heavy rain, the Stabilink light would come...
I got this error message and after research found that it may be related to the compressor/dryer assembly in the rear of my 2008 LTZ. I have been warned to be sure there are no leaks in the shocks or system because that could cause the pump to run all the time and burn up. How do you check for...
Anyone have an idea what is going on??? I started my 2008 LTZ Tahoe that has just turned 100,000 miles. TThe engine started fine but the check engine light was on solid and the transmission would not go into any gear. It would easily shift through the gears but remained in park. I shut off the...
I know this must exist in a 1000 places but I cannot find it. I can find how to remove the door panel but I need to know:
* How to replace the handle itself
* Where is the best place to buy a new one
Thanks for all help!!
