Without trying to sound too negative, a 6000lb tow rating is inadequate for a vehicle of this size in my opinion. That's the primary issue with hybrid technology where large trucks and SUV's are concerned.
Hang in there a few months
If you're willing to wait until Spring/Summer, the Tahoe prices will drop between $3K-5K dollars OFF INVOICE. GM and Ford will be feeling the heat by then and slashing prices on all of the large SUV's.
Look for 0% interest AND cash back this summer.
Looked at some new Silverado's today. Man, the super (extended) cab is HUGE and well appointed. GM has finally figured out to detail an interior. Simple and elegant, not complex and cheap. .
Makes me wonder if a pick up truck wouldn't serve me just as well as the Tahoe. It would tow...
Sorry for the rapid fire questions, but I'm getting down to the nitty gritty here. I'd really like to park the Tahoe in my garage, but it's going to be TIGHT! I've got 80" of height clearance, and 94" across. I'll probably have to opt for the power folding mirrors just to be sure.

It's not so much that I "need"...

When does GM traditionally run their best deals? I've been in Japanese makes (infiniti) of late, and they really don't have big "event" sales, but the domestics do. I don't "need" the Tahoe right away, so perhaps waiting until they've been out for a while is a good idea. GM usually runs an...
Hey guys. My wife and I had twin boys 8 months ago and I'm investigating our options for a family car/truck/van this Spring 2007. The minivan is probably the most "practical" choice out there right now, but I don't personally like them. Here are my questions:
1) Is the Tahoe refined enough...
