i replaced the blower control on mine when i had the same problem...i went to a junk yard and got it. think i paid 40 for mine...new one was 200 ish i believe.
i have had mine for a couple of weeks now. its not that loud. which is perfect. highway speeds arent that bad either. seems to do a little better of fuel and torque. i would suggest it to anyone wanting or needing something different.
i have a 1997 tahoe 2wd. 4 door. stock everything (exhaust wise) i have had to weld my muffler back a few times now. rusting out at a seam. my question is what would be the best thing to do. go with a flow master that works the same way 2x 2.25 into the muffler and one going out. or do two...
mpfi upgrade? intake has not been off. car and rotor sounds like a good place to start. i haven't replaced that since i have owned the car…thats been 6 years
1997 tahoe 5.7 v8. 159,000 miles. only run 93 in it. new radiator water pump brakes. new plugs. back fire happens every 20-30 starts. through the intake. runs rough for 10 or less seconds. any other info you guys need? also new crank shaft position sensor
its through the intake. i could have sworn it was the crank shaft position sensor. how do i check if its the dist cap?
when it dose backfire it runs rough for just a second then goes away. it may not do it again for awhile. never sets off the service engine light and never has a stored code.
So it would be best not to go with the 5.7 again? Sorry I don't get what your saying . All I want to do is keep it emission legal . It's my dd. last motor I built was for my 1979 Camaro no emissions then
i have a 1997 tahoe 4dr 2wd and im wanting to get a little more lift out of it. i have already went from the sock size tire which was 235x75x15 to the general grabber 31x10.50x15. i have see the spindle lifts and blocks for the rear. are there any other ways to lift it? other then a body lift...
