I have a 96 Tahoe and Amazon say's a double din Monitor wont fit in the radio's place.. Is this true or not? My stock radio looks to be about the same size but i've only seen these radio's on the net.

now if i get 6x9's and cut the hole in the ceiling a bit could i get the cover back on?
