There is this flexible plastic gooseneck stuff protecting some of the wires under the hood of my 2008 Tahoe. Its cracking from the heat - literally if you touch it some of it will crumble off. The wires inside look ok. Is that stuff there to protect the wires or just for appearance? Should...
