50k? hmm, kinda outta my price range. Okay, whats the typical swap for these. Before I get flamed, I should probably search some more. But I havent come across anything yet.

Has anyone ever been involved with, or done a swap of this kind? I have an 04 tahoe and would like throw an LS1 or 2 in it. From what I have read, its pretty much a drop in. Just looking for some feed back from someone that has done one.

I would definatley change the oil afterwards. I have used sea foam before, worked well if used properly.

Yes you can take them out. I would take it to a tire shop to have it done though.

I took my emblems off my 04. Kinda left a mark due to some fading. Goo be gone took the resedue off fairly well. As for the bow tie on the grill, I sanded mine down, taped it off really well and painted it the color of the body. Hit it with a wet sand, came out excellent.
