I've been reading about the new 2020 Tahoe recently announced. I am on my 6th Tahoe with a 2015 and I've been waiting for this new model to upgrade. The fact that GM is adding 7 inches to its length and also making it wider may be a deal-breaker for me. I don't want a bigger Tahoe. Good lord. .

Anybody know what the weight carrying rating is on the 07-08 Tahoe roof rack. On my 06 Z71, I carried 2 sea (19') kayaks often with no problems. These new racks look flimsier but Im not sure. I have a new 08 Z71 . Do you think these racks will handle as much as the older model racks???
