The one on your Camaro was probably to direct more air to the radiator... 3rd and 4th Gens didn't have much of a grille to bring air in.

Mine doesn't rattle or anything... I did notice this weekend some of the vibrations were moving into the dash... but it may have just been something we had in the center console.

I agree with this. It's been a few months since I did mine... definitely mellowed out a little... maybe a little too much for my liking... but it gives me performance and sound... and keeps the wife from complaining too much. :D

Mine was the Magnaflow 3" single off-set in... single center out (I think... maybe the other way around... but it was a 3" single/single) 21" long stainless steel muffler. I had a shop weld up a new pipe (to get rid of the Y-section) and put on a new tip. I've thought about doing a little...

I actually routed mine through the holes in the back of the taillight. (I drilled through)... That's the left side, but the right side is identical. I drilled a 1/2" hole and stuck my wireloom through it to protect the wires.

By the way... $10k in receipts and you're only in the 12's? :eek2: I could take a 14 second car and put it into mid 13's for about $1k. As a matter of fact... a buddy of mine had a 95 Z28 (like mine) with heads, cam, intake, exhaust and ran a 12.94... that's only a few grand.... it took...

That's funny... since the 1993 Formula (LT1.. much better...~50HP more than L98) was high-14's... the GTA was a high-15 / Low-16 car... with ~15 less HP and ~25 less ft/lb... in the LB9. Hell, even the '88 Vette posted high-14's... Pretty sure I know quite a bit about the F-body. I owned...

What makes me clueless about your low/mid 200hp (stock) L98-powered 3400lb+ 3rd gen? The fact that I can do a blue book check... or that I know that regardless of how many receipts and dollars you have in it... it's still a 1988 Formula 350... ? It's not a classic, rare, or anything else...
