engine swap help

I have a '97 Tahoe I'm looking to swap the 350 out with a 454 out of a '95. I know it's possible but my biggest concern is the 454 being obd1 and my Tahoe being obd2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, this is my first post. I just had the engine in my 1999 Chevy Tahoe replaced. Now that that has been done. The temp gauge keeps saying that the engine is running hot, but it's not. What could cause this? The gauge worked fine before the swap. Thanks:whymewhyme:
