hi,

I had the issue with the drop in oil pressure when engine is warm.

replaced the pressure filter & sending unit (which looked clean when replacing)

still problem existed.

now we have changed the complete oil pump and it still has the same issue.

if all the above did not help.. what else could it cause??

The engine is fairly new, around 100k miles..

I had some issues with AFM failure (pushrod bend) in past and it has been disabled in the computer.

I could really use some help now..

So, I am assuming with the new sender you replaced the seal/gasket at the sender mount to the pump. What is a pressure filter? Are you talking about an oil filter? How well has hat engine been taken care of over the 100k miles? If you have too much bearing clearance the oil pressure will be low. When you had the sender off that would have been a perfect time to attach a gauge and get a mechanical reading of the pressure.
