Hey guys I just bought a 2011 Tahoe LTZ about 2-3 weeks ago, it has 478 miles on it so its fairly new. To make a long story short, after a 50 mile trip or so, I went to dim my headlights and the knob was hot. I mean the heat was tolerable but if I hold my fingers there after 10 secs I start to feel discomfort. Is this normal? Feedback is appreciated! Thanks. :)

It is the bulb not a switch failure. Common on light and 4wd selector switches. Cure is to dim your lights to approximate 90%. You will still see the insturment cluster fine.
