Ive got an 05 Tahoe LS ..looking for a 4x4 Tahoe to take front and rear diff's ...trans and transfer case....make mine 4wd.. I figure if I found a totaled ho for the right price it would be worth it... its all set up now w a 6" suspension and 35s. don't really think it would be that hard to put it all in... Am I crazy ???? should I trash the idea?... just wondering...

Wow, that's quite a project. Probably have to get all the computer stuff and wiring as well, then have a dealership re- ID the computer(s), if that could be done.
Probably more economically reasonable to trade-in for a 4x4...

I didn't think I'd have to worry about computer. The wiring I expected but I'd have it off other Tahoe ... really didn't think it would be all that hard. It all basically just bolts up ....or maybe in my head it just seems easier ...
