I need a little bit of help guys, I just got a 97 Tahoe LT and when you open the rear doors they have a bar at the bottom that keeps them from opening too far and hitting the tail lights. On the passenger side that stopper is broken and the door will open too far. What is the actual name of the stopper and where can I get one?

Thanks!

They wont hit the tail lights anyways, the hinges stop the swing...they are designed for that hold to be released in order to open them more fully

go to a local junk yard and just pull one off any 1994-1999 suburban/Tahoe/etc

OK thanks! I appreciate the advice but they do hit the only problem with the paint on the whole truck is where the Tail light has been rubbing on the door when it's open.
