99 problems and Stereos all of them

I've been having problems with my stereo since a bit after i bought my 96 Tahoe.At first it was the back speakers in the ceiling, after I Uninstalled them I cut the wires and capped them. I went awhile without problems then one day my battery died, since then I can't get power to any stereo I put in. I've tried the stock stereo for my Blazer, the aftermarket one in my Blazer and nothing... I checked each in the blazer in and they all work! What could be my problem? I've checked both of the fuses to the radio and they are fine..

I know it sounds like a long shot but have you checked for power with a test light and check the ground in the wiring harness for the stereo "no ground no sound" good luck
