A few noob questions :]

Alright, I got an all black 01 chevy tahoe.
Right now I don't have much done to it just got the windows tinted, an exhaust system and 3 TV's in side and im getting my tail lights smoked out this weekend.

I'm looking to go ALL blackk
I just wanted to know how would I go about getting the front grill painted black?
How much would it cost?


and the other question... I want to take of the chrome on the side.. on the doors. How much would that cost also ???

I'm only 16 1/2 so thats why I'm worried about pricing and don't know much about where to go. lol.

I'll take some pictures of my truck and post them soon though.

not quite sure, but the door spears are probably on with double sided tape. take a heat gun to them and carefully pull them off.

as far as the grille goes, if youre on a tight budget rattle can it. light sand, prime, paint, and clear it.


use the search function and read up on what other members have done with theirs. nice truck to have at 16.

I took mine to a body shop and they painted it for $200. Check out my post for the pics.

I agree with EasyRyder. Rattle can & the trim will peel off. Just take it slow. That glue sticks really well.

Can someone get me a link to were I can get the rattle can paint ??
Or whats the best kind to get and etc... tell me about it ??

rattle can= spray paint
buy some at walmart, prep is the key

You can go to some auto paint supply stores that will actually put your paint into a spray can.

So... I still haven't been able to go to a paint shop or do anything with my hoe... I been busy lately

But I'm thinking of just buying a heat gun and take off the trim myself?
Is that all I really need to do it ?

Okk I debadged the hoe but the edges are still there... anyone know how I can clean the edges upp ?
